Brooklyn author and illustrator Melanie Hope Greenberg's blog "Mermaids on Parade" (named for her popular illustrated book of the same name) is in the running for a Fascination Award in the 'Art Teacher' category.Specifically, her post about the Betsy Bird Saturday Children's Literary Salon panel (called "Connect the Dots") was nominated.
